    The lack of amenities was disappointing, especially the absence of a microwave and fridge. Even though the staff was nice, the overall condition of the room left much to be desired.

    It needs to be up dated and refurbished.I was on the second floor and through the carpet I could feel the floor boards moving up and down. The air conditioner was smoking ! literally! we turn it on and it started to smoke and the room smelled like smoke.

    Location close to our destination of the Elephant Butte State Park.

    Motel had a bungent smell of cigarrette in the building and in the room.

    Prompt service at the desk was appreciated, and the TV in the room was a nice touch. The cleaning left much to be desired, with noticeable hair in the bathroom and a poorly maintained ceiling that looked like it could cave in. Plus, the toilet was shaky. The proximity to places like Johnny B's for breakfast was a definite upside.

    Loved Truth or Consequences, the hotel was nice and just right close to downtown. This was an easy location just off easy highway access. And it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from Denny's, ate there couple of times. The room I got was tidy and modern with a comfortable sofa, the microwave plus fridge. The staff members were all very friendly and affable. They offered me coffee and pastries.

    A Comfortable Family Stay with Fantastic Staff

    The King Room was spacious and quiet. The staff went out of their way to help, we had everything we needed. Be sure to grab a coffee in the morning. It's fresh and ready!

    I stayed here for a night with my family and was actually surprised. The room wasnice and neat, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It exceeded my expectations compared to previous stays in truth or consequences.

    We visited a local hot springs and ate at a fantastic Mexican restaurant nearby. The location was convenient and our room was clean and comfy, perfect for a night after all our adventures. Just keep in mind there's no breakfast provided, but you can find plenty of options close by.

    I did notice the bathtub was not cleaned properly, with some hair left over from previous guests, a bit off-putting.
